The wind farm "Alibunar 1," with a total capacity of 9 MW, commenced trial operations at the end of October of the current year. The plant is expected to produce around 27 GWh.
Theowner of the project is the company Balkan Electric doo Vršac, which our group managed from its inception until obtaining ready to build phase, and in 2022, it was handed over to the Slovenian investor, Rudis doo Trbovlje.
Wind turbines are connected to the existing 20 kV substation "Alibunar mini," situated approximately 1,000 meters away via a shared MV switchgear and cables.
The investment's total value amounts to 15.5 million euros. The investment was largely financed, 75%, through a 15-year loan from Nova Ljubljanska Banka d.d. Ljubljana, while Rudis contributed 25% of the investment's value.
We are extremely proud of this project and believe that the "Alibunar 1" project will enhance the energy security of the Republic of Serbia and expedite the process of energy transition.
